What We Sell
A half hog share from Woobie Farm yields approximately 55–65 pounds of finished pork, custom-cut to your specifications. Our pigs average around 200 pounds live weight, so a half share is roughly 100 pounds of live weight per customer.
You choose the cuts: how thick the chops, how the loin is broken down, what gets ground, what gets cured into bacon and sausage. Whatever you'd buy at a butcher shop, we can have made for you - at a price that's typically lower per pound than retail and from a pig you can come visit before processing.
Pasture-Raised
Pigs raised outdoors on our land in Fredericksburg, VA - no factory operation.
USDA Inspected
Federally inspected processing means safe, traceable, and legal-to-resell.
Vacuum-Sealed
Flash-frozen and vacuum-sealed for over a year of freezer life.
Custom-Cut
You choose chop thickness, what gets ground, what gets cured. No guessing.
This Is What a Half Hog Looks Like
A real half-hog share from Woobie Farm, custom-cut and ready for the freezer.
How It Works
- Reserve your share with a $450 deposit ($900 for a whole hog).
- Submit your cut sheet - we'll walk you through every choice, no jargon.
- Pickup day: we coordinate with the USDA-inspected processor and let you know when your custom-cut, vacuum-sealed pork is ready.
- Final cost is calculated at $5.50 per pound of live weight, so you only pay for what you take home.
